Pakistani hackers hacked the official website of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar. This Hacking was though with the aim of posting messages advocating freedom for Kashmir. Hackers had taken over the website in the aftermath of India’s victory over Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy in Edgbaston on Sunday evening.
Hackers called themselves ‘All Pak Cyber Skullz Members’.
Official Announcement by NIT after hacked
“The attack took place last evening and a Pakistani group called Pak Cyber Skullz claimed credit. We are working to get the site up again and it should be done soon.”

Website was immediately taken off for repairs and at last restored on Tuesday evening.
